Miami Dolphins defensive tackle Fred Evans was arrested early Saturday morning after a fight with police officers. The report says police asked Evans to get out of a taxi because of some kind of dispute. When he refused, the scuffle ensued.

Commentary: The police report says that one officer was bitten and another had a scrape on the knee. It also says that Evans had to be tasered. Reportedly, the Dolphins have made a statement that this would be handled very seriously.

Fantasy Football Impact: Though Evans was slated to be a second-stringer in 2007, he played in only one game for the Dolphins last year and was not considered to be a key contributing factor in the defense. The Dolphins will not suffer if Evans is suspended for a long period of time. They are still an aging but above-average defense and should be considered to be in your starting lineup each week depending on the matchup.
