The month of May might be the epitome of the offseason, but the Miami Dolphins are busy eyeing free agent prospects and player personnel candidates.

Now that second year cornerback Will Poole is sidelined with a knee injury, former Miami Dolphin Terrell Buckley has voiced his interest in returning to the team for a third tour of duty. Buckley is a 14 year veteran who most recently played for the New York Jets. He snagged three interceptions last year.

Another former AFC rival, Keith Traylor, has been talking with the Miami Dolphins. Traylor, a defensive tackle who played for the world champion New England Patriots last season is comfortable playing in both the 3-4 and 4-3 alignment. If he decides to sign with the Dolphins, he is expected to compete with Tim Bowens and Larry Chester for a starting role.

The NFL rumor mill is churning out news concerning an interview that the Miami Dolphins are trying to schedule with Philadelphia Eagles assistant Jason Licht. The Eagles are known for making extremely sound personnel moves, and Licht is considered to a major contributor to that cause. He began his career as a scout for the Dolphins, but is currently the assistant director of player personnel for the Eagles.
