The Miami Dolphins have signed defensive tackle Keith Traylor to a two year deal. This move seems to further reinforce the theory that veteran tackle Tim Bowens will retire before the upcoming season begins.

Keith Traylor is 14 year veteran. The 35 year old has won three superbowl titles and is considered to be a solid run stopping defensive tackle. His size makes him well suited for playing nose tackle in a 3-4 alignment. This is of particular importance because the Miami Dolphins are planning on using that defensive scheme on a part-time basis this upcoming season.

Traylor spent last season playing nose tackle for the world champion New England Patriots. He split time with former Miami Hurricane Vince Wilfork.
