Now that Randy Mueller has been selected as the new GM for the Miami Dolphins he seems destined to be reunited with his former New Orleans Saints castoff running back Ricky Williams.

Keep in mind that Randy Mueller is the guy who went ahead and drafted Deuce McAllister in the 2001 draft, even though the Saints had given up eight draft picks in order to move up and select Ricky Williams just two seasons earlier. Mueller did not like Ricky's off-field antics and his problems with Saints head coach Jim Haslett, so he decided to move in another direction (by drafting McAllister) and eventually traded away Ricky Williams to the Miami Dolphins.

Now the two are likely to be reunited, because Mueller's hiring will not affect Nick Saban's decision to bring Ricky back. I would love to be around when Mueller and Williams run into each other during the course of this upcoming season. It should be in an interesting dynamic to say the least.
