Ricky isn’t really driving in a car to Miami?

According to a local sports radio talk show host, Ricky Williams has refuted reports that he is driving cross-country to Miami. Of course, the radio personality was referring to a New York Times report that surfaced last Thursday. The report claimed that Ricky Williams e-mailed the newspaper to let them know that he was not in his car and he was not driving to Miami.

A report in the Denver Post had Ricky in Boston visiting his daughter for the weekend. The Denver Post also reported that an un-named Miami Dolphins official had not heard from Ricky at all.

In the end, Ricky Williams' return to the city of Miami is like most things in his life at this point; up in the air. I sincerely hope that he does eventually find his way down to Miami, stays away from the marijuana, and reestablishes his NFL career. Otherwise, his life may end up the same way his weed stashes did; up in smoke.
