Lance Schulters is set to visit the Miami Dolphins. The pro bowl caliber free safety, who was recently released by the Tennessee Titans due to salary cap issues, will be visiting the Dolphins training facility in Davie, Florida.
Schulters was considered to be one of the Tennessee Titans most vocal leaders. He brought a lot confidence and swagger to the Titans secondary corps.

Lance Schulters had his best NFL season in 2002, snatching up six interceptions, two sacks and 83 total tackles. He had a disappointing 2003 campaign (0 interceptions), then missed 13 games in 2004 with a foot injury.

Although Schulters production has declined over the past two seasons, he would definitely be considered an upgrade over what the Miami Dolphins have to offer at the free safety position. Right now the projected starter would be Travares Tillman. He has started only 7 games in the NFL and is coming off surgery to repair torn knee cartilage.
