Rumors were milling around concerning Miami Dolphins safety Quintin Williams' drag racing opponent in the early morning hour race on I-595 that led to his DUI arrest. Reports surfaced that he had been racing a Miami Dolphins cheerleader.

Well according to a Reuters report, Quintin Williams was racing a car driven by Brandy Lynn Richards, who said she was a Miami Dolphins cheerleader when questioned at the scene. However, a team spokesman denied Richards had ever been a Dolphins cheerleader.

Another interesting twist in this case is that Williams was driving fellow teammate Tavares Tillman's car. Tillman was in the passenger seat at the time; not exactly the best way for our current starting free safety to mentor his young apprentice.
