On Tuesday, the Miami Dolphins ran a few plays that included both Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams in the backfield. Could this be a preview of what were going to see starting in week 5, when Ricky Williams returns from his four game suspension? Sounds good to me.

Opposing defenses would face the daunting prospect of accounting for Chris Chambers, Marty Booker, Randy McMichael, Ricky Williams, and Ronnie Brown all at once. This kind of firepower might draw attention away from the weak points in our offense; the QB and O-line. Then again if Hudson Hauck can work his magic, we may only have one potential soft spot on the offense, and experience tells us that it's much easier for a journeyman quarterback to shine if he has a lot of talent surrounding him. The Dolphins have a chance to field their first truly balanced offense in over 30 years.

Talking about the 70's, the Miami Dolphins haven't had a one-two punch in the backfield since the days of Mercury Morris and Larry Csonka. This duo could be even better in that both Brown and Williams can catch the ball well out of the backfield, both are speedy and elusive, and both can pound the ball between the tackles.

First things first though. Dolfans should get their first glimpse of Ronnie Brown this weekend when the Miami Dolphins face off against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
