Holy Innocents Episcopal (Atlanta, Ga.) tight end Jack Farrell gave his verbal commitment to Duke on Tuesday for the 2009 class.

The 6-foot-2, 215-pounder chose Durham over Army and is the second overall commitment for the Blue Devils.

COMMENTARY: Difficult to expect Duke to tear it up on the recruiting trail given its poor history, not to mention the team is undergoing a coaching change. This is par for the course, for now.
