The Philadelphia Eagles have announced that running back Correll Buckhalter will miss the entire season after undergoing knee surgery yesterday. The surgery was performed in order to repair a torn patella tendon in his right knee. He had the exact same surgery last year after being hurt in a preseason game.

Correll Buckhalter has missed three of his five NFL seasons due to injury. When healthy he was an above average back for the Philadelphia Eagles. Buckhalter averaged 4.4 yards per career in his career. His best season came in 2003 when he rushed for 542 yards on 126 carries and scored eight touchdowns.
