Brian Westbrook has cut off contract talks with the Philadelphia Eagles. According to star running back, the two sides have never come close to reaching an agreement as of yet. Westbrook is playing out his existing deal but hopes to sign a long-term deal with the team.

In three seasons with the team, Brian Westbrook has rushed for 1,618 yards and 10 touchdowns and has added 119 receptions for 1,121 yards with 10 TD. He has been an integral part of the Eagles offense and dependable release valve for Donovan McNabb.
