Infamous agent Drew Rosenhaus has been granted permission by the Philadelphia Eagles to seek a trade for Terrell Owens. The only problem is that no team will be in a hurry to hammer out a deal for the infinitely talented and troublesome receiver because it is a well known fact that the Eagles plan to release him in the spring.

The move is seen as a last gasp effort by Philadelphia to try and get something for Owens as opposed to simply releasing him. Terrell Owens has five seasons remaining on his current 7-year, $49 million contract. He is due two roster bonuses totaling $7.5 million in March, but he will never cash in on those benefits because the Philadelphia Eagles will have already released him by that time.

Owens has already been linked to several teams including the Dallas Cowboys, Miami Dolphins, and Atlanta Falcons, but at the present time those links are nothing more than vague rumors.
