Eagles sign Gaither to four-year contract

The Philadelphia Eagles have signed rookie linebacker Omar Gaither to a four-year contract. Gaither, a fifth-round pick by the Eagles in this year's NFL draft, is the first of Philadelphia's drafted players to sign.

The 6-1, 233 pound LB was a two-time All-SEC second-team pick from the University of Tennessee. During his Volunteer career, Gaither recorded 210 tackles, six sacks, and five forced fumbles in 49 games.
