The Philadelphia Eagles have signed Max Jean-Gilles to a four-year contract. The 6-3, 338 pound offensive guard was a fourth-round pick by the Eagles after Philly traded DT Hollis Thomas to the New Orleans Saints during this year's NFL Draft.

While playing for the Georgia Bulldogs, the 2005 consensus All-American, gave up a total of three sacks in 40 career starts. More importantly though, is the fact that Jean-Gilles never missed a start due to injury in his career as a Bulldog.

Jean-Gilles became the third of Philadelphia's eight draft picks to sign, joining sixth-round picks Omar Gaither and LaJuan Ramsey.
