Philadelphia Eagles wide out Todd Pinkston ruptured his Achilles tendon yesterday. He will miss the entire 05'-06' season. Pinkston got tangled up with a defender on a sideline route. Apparently, it was fairly easy to diagnose the injury, since the team announced that he was out for the season within hours of the injury taking place.

Todd Pinkston has been a reliable target for Donovan Mcnabb over the past four seasons. He has averaged 43 receptions and over 600 yards for the Philadelphia Eagles over that span. Though his numbers aren't flashy he was steady receiver that the Eagles might have a hard time replacing.
