Philadelphia Eagles running back Brian Westbrook has decided to end his holdout and report to camp. Westbrook did have much of a choice because continuing his holdout would have meant that he would have made himself ineligible for free agent status next season. Westbrook was holding out in hopes of receiving a long term contract. He signed a one year contract earlier this year.

Brian Westbrook has been one of the most dynamic running backs in the NFL over the past few seasons. He is just as dangerous as a receiver as he is running out of the backfield. Last year, he amassed 812 rushing yards (4.6 yards per carry) to go along with 703 receiving yards on 73 receptions. He scored 10 total touchdowns.

Westbrook will be a key cog in a Philadelphia Eagles offense that lacks depth at the wide receiver spot now that Todd Pinkston is out for the season.
