Most of the talk last year in Atlanta surrounded Michael Vick, but there was another Virginia Tech product who made some waves of his own. Cornerback DeAngelo Hall had more than a few bouts with ex-Atlanta coach Bobby Petrino, who deserted the team after not even finishing his first season with the Falcons. Now Hall is reaping what he sows on what, going into the season, was a severely overrated Oakland defense. While Hall has three interceptions this season, that stat is deceptively high considering almost nobody will throw the other way at stud cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha.

Commentary: In a time of turmoil, Hall could have been a leader for a team that needed one desperately last season in Atlanta. Instead, he decided to clash with Petrino. Hall has always been overrated and had issues with anger. And while the Falcons may not have the best pass defense in the league -- nowhere close, to be honest -- they made the right choice in trading Hall to the Raiders.

Fan Pulse:
Atlanta's finest are ready for Michael Turner to punish the Raiders.

Fantasy Football Commentary:I'd lean more toward starting Turner than quarterback Matt Ryan this weekend. Oakland's run defense is horrible, so the Falcons may want to let the game be dictated on the ground.

Injury Watch: RB Jerious Norwood is probable for Sunday after suffering a concussion, but was limited Wednesday in practice.
