Summary of Job

The Assistant Director of Ticket Operations is responsible for assisting the Director of Ticket Operations in the management and direction of the day-to-day operations of the ticket office to include, but not limited to: accounting for all tickets; management of all season ticket accounts; preparing reports; and, other such duties, functions and special projects assigned by the Director of Ticket Operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include

a. Assist the Director of Ticket Operations in the day-to-day management of the office

b. Supervise support staff of five full-time associates, three part-time associates, 30-40 game-day associates and one/two intern(s)

c. Recruit, interview, train and schedule part-time associates and office interns

d. Address and resolve customer service complaints to restore and promote good public relations

e. Edit and design The Beakon, ticket office quarterly newsletter

f. Manage all printing projects for office

g. Manage office payroll for all part-time associates, game-day associates and interns

h. Create annual ticket operations report for use for entire organization

i. Manage season/half-season sales via atlantafalcons.com j. Create daily ticket sales and net ticket receipts reports

k. Manage and update Season Ticket Holder's Handbook

l. Manage office PTO forms and accrued PTO balances and office insurance/dental forms for each ticket office associate

m. Maintain accurate historical files on all information, documents and mailings sent to Season Ticket Holders and fans

n. Manage office in regards to office housekeeping, maintenance and general upkeep

o. Maintain Super Bowl files and assist in the distribution of tickets per the clubs requests

p. Manage game-day will call windows

q. Supplement/substitute for any employee as need arises

r. Assist and lend experience and ideas to creative design and maintenance of office forms and letters, season and individual brochures and season and individual tickets

s. Assist in organizing and coordinating staff meetings

t. Create script and record day and evening phone messages for main ticket office phone number

u. Assist in coordination of special projects for office

v. Assist in maintaining accurate records and filling requests from various departments within the organization

w. Foster productive working relationship with Ticket Sales department

Education and Experience Requirements

a. College degree with emphasis in management, accounting, sports marketing/management, or a related field. Graduate degree preferred

b. Minimum of 2-3 years experience as Ticket Manager/Coordinator or 4-5 years experience in Ticket Operations/Sales

c. Experience in the operation of Archtics (computerized ticketing system)

d. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization

e. Supervisory experience preferred

f. Sales experience and knowledge of football highly beneficial

Skill and Knowledge Requirements

a. Excellent oral and written communication skills

b. Excellent time management and organizational skills

c. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and all socioeconomic groups

d. Excellent mathematical skills – Ability to compute using whole numbers, fractions, decimals and percents

e. Ability to operate a variety of computer software applications including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, Ticketmaster, PowerPoint and customized in-house ticketing system and database

f. Ability to work well in a team environment

g. Must be able to work an irregular work schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays
