After entering the playoffs with no one on the injury report, the Atlanta Falcons are a little more banged up for the NFC championship game at Philadelphia.

Offensive tackle Todd Weiner and cornerback Kevin Mathis, both starters, sat out practice Jan. 19 because of sore ankles, while backup defensive end Travis Hall was sidelined by a chest injury.

All were listed as questionable for the game against the Eagles.

"Right now, we are hopeful that they will be able to play," coach Jim Mora said. "If not, we will go on."

Second-string receiver Brian Finneran, bothered by an ailing thumb and wrist, did manage to practice and was listed as probable on the injury report.

Weiner and Mathis wore protective boots on their ankles earlier in the week, but both were walking without the devices.

The Falcons, who had a playoff bye, routed St. Louis 47-17 in a second-round game last week. They have reached the conference championship game for only the second time in franchise history.
