The Atlanta Falcons signed undrafted free-agent TE George Cooper. He was originally signed by Detroit on May 4 but was released on June 14.

Commentary: Cooper, who is 6-foot-5 and 268 pounds, had nine receptions for 113 yards and a touchdown in three seasons while at Georgia Tech. That might explain why he's such an unknown.

Fantasy Football Impact: This will have no impact in the fantasy world as the Falcons have one of the best tight ends in the league in Alge Crumpler. Cooper will be lucky to make the practice squad, let alone the Opening-Day roster. If he does, it will probably be on special teams.
