The Seattle Seahawks have re-signed right tackle Sean Locklear to a five-year deal reportedly worth $32 million, including $12 million in bonuses.

Commentary: Locklear is perhaps the Seahawks' best young lineman, and keeping the 26-year-old long-term is a great move for a team that needs to get better up front. The Seahawks added Mike Wahle to play left guard, and by keeping Locklear they guarantee the unit will be better than it was in 2007.

Fantasy Football Impact: Upgrading the line should help improve the running game, although it remains to be seen who will be carrying the ball. Shaun Alexander probably will return, but will he stay healthy for once?
