There will be no quarterback controversy in Washington next season. New head coach Jim Zorn says Jason Campbell will start in 2008, despite Todd Collins leading the Redskins to the playoffs this past season.

Campbell, 26, dislocated his kneecap in Week 14, then Collins, 36, led the team to four straight regular-season victories and a playoff berth.

"Jason Campbell must know that he is the starter... I don't want to go into training camp with him not knowing or have this thing up for grabs," Zorn said Friday at the NFL Scouting Combine.

Collins will become an unrestricted free agent next week, but the Redskins want to retain him as a backup.

Commentary: Collins is a decade older than Campbell. Zorn knows the future of his team rests with the still-developing Campbell.

Fantasy Football Impact: Campbell is not a starting fantasy quarterback, but he's a nice option as a late-round backup.
