The Miami Dolphins have claimed running back Samkon Gado off waivers from the Houston Texans. Gado was released by the Texans on Tuesday.

Commentary: Gado, a third-year man, is best known for his outstanding 2005 campaign in Green Bay, but he's regressed since. This season, he's totaled only 18 rushes for 46 yards. Now that Ronnie Brown is out for the season, the Dolphins need all the running back help they can get. For now, Jesse Chatman is their starter.

Fantasy Football Impact: As of now, none. However, Gado's touches could increase if Chatman struggles.
