Washington cornerback Carlos Rogers will miss the rest of the season because of a torn ACL and MCL suffered in a 52-7 loss to New England.

Commentary: Rogers' injury in the first quarter, coupled with Fred Smoot's absence due to a hamstring injury, was a big reason the Patriots threw at will against Washington. Smoot will return in Week 9 against the New York Jets.

Fantasy Football Impact: It was great for the Patriots.
