Bills’ Losman back under center

The Buffalo Bills will start J.P. Losman at quarterback against Cincinnati this weekend, according to head coach Dick Jauron. Trent Edwards, who started in Losman's place since Sept. 30, sprained his right wrist in a 13-3 win over the Jets last Sunday. The severity of his injury is not yet known.

Commentary: With the game tied 3-3 in the Meadowlands, the 26-year-old Losman stepped in for the hurt Edwards and delivered a gem of a performance, completing 3 of 5 fourth-quarter passes for 113 yards and a touchdown. The fourth-year man started the first two games of the season, both losses, and had his job taken away because of a Week 3 knee injury coupled with the rookie Edwards' solid play. In 2006 Losman threw an impressive 19 touchdown passes and was the NFL's 11th-rated signal-caller.

Fantasy Football Impact: Losman has a great arm, has something to prove and is facing the Bengals' terrible secondary. He might be a premier fantasy QB this weekend, and he's available on most waiver wires.
