Green Bay Packers running back DeShawn Wynn was placed on season-ending injured reserve on Tuesday because of a hurt shoulder. Wynn, a seventh-round pick from the University of Florida, led all Packers runners with 203 yards and four touchdowns over the first seven games of the season.

Commentary: Although Green Bay is 6-1, one thing it hasn't possessed this year is a strong rushing attack. Wynn's loss will be crucial unless fellow rookie Ryan Grant, an undrafted free agent from Notre Dame, continues playing well. In Monday night's 19-13 win over Denver, Grant had a coming-out party, racking up 104 ground yards on 22 carries.

Fantasy Football Impact: As the weather gets colder and conditions worsen, the pass-heavy Packers will have to continue working to establish the run. That means Grant, available on most leagues' waiver wires, is worthy of being picked up.
