The Oakland Raiders have waived wide receiver Mike Williams, whose fourth-quarter dropped pass against the Tennessee Titans last week cost the silver and black a chance at victory.

Commentary: Williams, the 10th overall pick of the 2005 draft and a former USC standout, was traded from Detroit to Oakland for a fourth-rounder in the offseason. Along with Williams, the Raiders received quarterback Josh McCown. In six games this year for the 2-5 Raiders, Williams hauled in just seven passes for 90 yards. The move to reunite him with current Raiders head coach and former USC offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin couldn't have been less effective.

Fantasy Football Impact: None. Williams' NFL career, after three miserable seasons and only 44 receptions, could be over.
