The Atlanta Falcons are trying to fill the hole left by cutting Grady Jackson with a slightly smaller brick -- 6-foot-3, 304-pound Tim Anderson, released Oct. 20 by Buffalo.

Rookie Trey Lewis will remain the starter in Jackson's spot, but Anderson -- a former standout at Ohio State -- will replace Montavious Stanley, who hurt his knee in practice earlier this week.

Commentary: The knock on Anderson in Buffalo was that he wasn't mobile enough. He did start for the Bills in 2005 and '06, finishing his time there with 76 tackles and one sack. Still, it's not a good thing when an organization has to start rummaging through other teams' trash bins.

Fantasy Impact: Jackson was known for projecting his 350-pound bulk into opposing backfields, leading the league in tackles for loss last season. Nothing in Anderson's resume indicates that he has that sort of offense-disrupting ability.
