Baltimore Ravens quarterback Steve McNair pronounced himself healthy on Thursday and ready to start Monday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers. McNair had been out for three weeks with back and groin injuries that limited his mobility and affected his throwing motion -- part of the reason he has only two touchdown passes this season.

"He's alive and well," said wide receiver Mark Clayton.

"I think he's 100 percent healthy," said Ravens coach Brian Billick, while adding "but I'm no doctor."

Commentary: Despite all this optimism, McNair has been struggling for some time now, leading to speculation that a career full of injuries is finally beginning to take its toll. He's not Vinny Testaverde or Brett Favre old, but he's high mileage.

Fantasy Football Impact: If you're a McNair owner, there are two sides of the coin to consider. Heads, he's thrown 21 career touchdown passes against Pittsburgh and is 11-4 when playing the Steelers. Tails, he's coming off a long layoff and the Ravens' offensive line is still banged up.
