The Tampa Bay Buccaneers elevated WR Michael Spurlock from the practice squad to the active roster Thursday. A 5-foot-11, 205-pounder out of Ole Miss, Spurlock played in one game with Arizona last season as an undrafted free agent and caught four passes.

Commentary: Kind of makes you wonder why the Bucs didn't snap up Mike Williams, cut earlier this week by Oakland. He would probably have come cheaply, too.

Fantasy Football Impact: If you're thinking about adding Spurlock to your roster, your team is in big trouble. You've got a lot more choices than Tampa Bay has in real life.
