The New England Patriots have placed running back Sammy Morris on season-ending injured reserve. Morris suffered a chest injury on Oct. 14 in a win over Dallas and hasn't seen the field since.

Commentary: The 8-0 Pats seem invincible, but their running game has been a point of concern for some. Morris, one of the NFL's best reserve runners, accumulated 384 ground yards and three touchdowns in six games this year. The 30-year-old added back-to-back 100-yard rushing games in Weeks 4 an 5.

Fantasy Football Impact: If you happen to have Morris on your roster, drop him and try to find someone else. In some leagues, the Packers' new starting RB, Ryan Grant, is available.
