Larry Johnson, Kansas City's ace running back, suffered a mid-foot sprain against Green Bay and could be out for an extended period. If he is out, Priest Holmes would assume the starting spot.

Commentary: Coach Herm Edwards said Holmes would not get more than 15 carries per game, so rookie Kolby Smith would pick up the slack.

Fantasy Football Impact: Johnson started horribly this season, but he had begun to pick it up over the past month, with three 100-yard games in the four contests before he was hurt. But if Holmes and Smith split carries, neither would offer a lot of fantasy value.
