The New England Patriots activated two Jacksons off the PUP list Wednesday, adding receiver Chad Jackson and cornerback Eddie Jackson. They also cut safety Ray Ventrone.

Commentary: Chad Jackson was the team's second-round pick in 2006 and was expected to step in and make up for the losses of David Givens and Deion Branch. But injuries derailed him last year, and the Patriots brought in three veterans who have turned the passing game into the league's best.

Fantasy Football Impact: There is no way Chad Jackson will do anything as long as Randy Moss, Donte Stallworth and Wes Welker remain healthy. If he's lucky, Jackson might overtake Jabar Gaffney as the No. 4 receiver.
