Brian Griese has a sprained left shoulder, but Chicago coach Lovie Smith wouldn't say he is out and Rex Grossman is in yet. Smith said that once Griese is medically cleared to play, he will. So far, he hasn't been cleared. "Yes, it's unclear who's going to start Sunday," Smith told reporters.

Commentary: Grossman completed 7 of 14 passes for 142 yards, including a 59-yard touchdown to Bernard Berrian that gave the Bears the lead in what became a 17-6 win over Oakland.

Fantasy Football Impact: Griese has put up better numbers this season, so he is the ideal quarterback for the Bears. In three starts before he was benched, Grossman never went over 200 yards and had just one TD pass to go with six interceptions.
