Jacksonville quarterback David Garrard, who has missed the last three weeks with a sprained ankle, expects to play Sunday against San Diego. Coach Jack Del Rio wouldn't commit to Garrard, preferring instead to wait until he sees how his starting QB practices Wednesday. The Jaguars also activated linebacker Justin Durant and offensive lineman Richard Collier, who were suspended for the past two games because of arrests.

Commentary: The Jags will take their time with Garrard if necessary because they have done fine without him -- winning two of three road games. With Quinn Gray at QB, they have won in Tampa Bay and Tennessee. And now they come home for two.

Fantasy Football Impact: Neither Garrard nor Gray has been much of a fantasy factor. Garrard has only one game of two touchdown passes, and he has been over 250 yards only once. Gray had a big game (354 yards, two TDs) in a loss to New Orleans but has not thrown much otherwise.
