The Buffalo Bills are "not overly optimistic" that star rookie rusher Marshawn Lynch will be available Sunday night against New England, coach Dick Jauron said. Lynch suffered a bad ankle sprain against Miami last weekend, and he might miss more than just this next game.

Commentary: Lynch has been a huge part of the Bills' four-game winning streak. He has six touchdowns this season and is fifth in the league with 751 rushing yards. Without him, the Bills seemingly have no chance to control the ball and keep it away from the Patriots.

Fantasy Football Impact: Assuming Lynch is out, another rookie will pick up the slack as fourth-round pick Dwayne Wright figures to carry the ball. He will get help from veteran Anthony Thomas, but Wright is the guy. Against the Patriots, though, he is not likely to gain much ground.
