New York Giants running back Derrick Ward rushed for 154 yards and a touchdown before injuring his left ankle in a win over Chicago, 21-16, on Sunday. Ward left the field on crutches.

Commentary: Giants running backs are injury prone. Both Ward and starter Brandon Jacobs have missed stretches this season. If neither can go in Week 14, third-stringer Reuben Droughns will start.

Fantasy Football Impact: Droughns filled in well last week when Ward and Jacobs sat. He'll be a decent option in Week 14 if Ward's injury is as serious as it looked.
