Anthony Thomas, sit down. Marshawn Lynch, stand up.

At least, that's the scenario the Buffalo Bills are hoping for this week. Thomas was shut down Thursday with a torn calf muscle, ending a largely forgettable season in which he netted 89 yards in 36 rushing attempts and had 15 catches for 95 yards and a touchdown.

Lynch, meanwhile, practiced without any pain in his left ankle on Thursday, even though part of the workout was outside, in 30-degree temperatures.

Commentary: Obviously, Lynch for Thomas wouldn't be a bad deal. The rookie has scored six touchdowns and rushed for nearly 800 yards in only nine games this season.

Fantasy Football Impact: See above.
