Already without Deuce McAllister, the New Orleans Saints might have to finish their uphill battle to make the playoffs without running back Reggie Bush, who has a partially torn posterior cruciate ligament in his left knee and could miss the rest of the season. Bush was injured Nov. 4 against Jacksonville and has been hampered by the injury since. He will see famed orthopedist Dr. James Andrews to determine the best course of action. Bush is not expected to need surgery, just rest and rehab. He will definitely not play Monday against Atlanta.

Commentary: Nothing has gone right for the former No. 2 pick in the draft, who was not performing that well before he got hurt anyway. He was not ready to take over as the Saints' main tailback when McAllister was lost for the season in Week 3.

Fantasy Football Impact: If Bush is indeed gone for the season, Aaron Stecker and rookie Pierre Thomas will take over. Stecker has been more involved the past couple of games, with 20 carries for 58 yards. But Thomas is a sleeper who might be a great pickup for any fantasy playoff teams that have problems at running back.
