Safety Chris Hope, a leader on Tennessee's defense, will miss the rest of the season because of a spinal-cord injury suffered two weeks ago against Cincinnati. Hope is expected to play again, whether he heals through rest or surgery. Calvin Lowry will make his second straight start at strong safety when the Titans play San Diego this weekend.

Commentary: The Titans' defense started strong but has struggled without defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth, who was playing like the NFL's defensive player of the year before he hurt his hamstring and missed three games. He returned last week but aggravated the hamstring injury and will be a game-time decision Sunday.

Fantasy Football Impact: None.
