The Houston Texans put Ahman Green on injured reserve after the running back had missed Houston's last three games with an injured left knee. The Texans also promoted Shane Boyd from the practice squad to back up quarterback Sage Rosenfels, who will start for the injured Matt Schaub (dislocated shoulder).

Commentary: The Texans gave Green a four-year, $23 million contract because they thought he could be their featured back, but he has just 260 yards on 70 carries. He sprained his knee against Indianapolis in Week 3 and had played in just four games since.

Fantasy Football Impact: Ron Dayne has been very good the past four games, with 375 yards and two touchdowns on 76 rushes. He leads Houston with 601 yards this season.
