Oft-injured New York Giants running back Brandon Jacobs will give his sore hamstring a go this Sunday against Philadelphia, reports ESPN's Rachel Nichols.

Commentary: Jacobs was quoted during the week as not wanting to come back before he was ready. However, last week's season-ending injury to backfield-mate Derrick Ward might be pressing him into action.

Fantasy Football Impact: Jacobs could be a difference-maker in the first round of fantasy playoffs. In the six games this season for which Jacobs has been healthy, he is averaging 109 yards from scrimmage and three scores.
