According to the Chiefs' website, coach Herm Edwards expects running back Kolby Smith to start Sunday against Tennessee despite suffering an unspecified knee injury in last week's game at Denver. The knee is apparently sore, which limited Smith in Wednesday's practice, but Edwards says Kansas City is simply bringing him along slowly.

Commentary: Ever heard of Gilbert Harris or Jackie Battle? Well, they'll platoon if Smith is unable to play.

Fantasy Football Impact: Smith excited fantasy players in Week 12 with a 150-yard, two-touchdown performance against Oakland. Last week, though, he totaled just 13 yards on 12 carries. Against Tennessee's great run defense, odds are none of the Chiefs' backs will do much of anything this weekend.
