The Cleveland Browns made four roster moves Wednesday, signing linebacker Kevin Adams, claiming center Marvin Philip off waivers from the Pittsburgh Steelers and waiving center Greg Eslinger and linebacker Colby Bockwoldt.

Commentary: The Browns are surprisingly in the hunt for a playoff spot, and they obviously are trying to improve their special teams and depth as they challenge for the postseason. Adams, a six-year veteran, mainly plays special teams. Philip figures to back up Hank Fraley.
