Ironically, amid the turmoil created when Atlanta Falcons coach Bobby Petrino walked out the door, it's Petrino's guy -- Chris Redman, who played under the now ex-coach at Louisville -- who will lead the team against Tampa Bay on Sunday.

Saying "He's done some good things," interim coach Emmitt Thomas announced Thursday that Redman would start.

Commentary: In a loss to New Orleans on Monday night, Redman completed 23 of 40 passes for 298 yards and two touchdowns. Those were, as Thomas noted, good things. His two interceptions were bad things.

Fantasy Impact: If your team is still playing at this point in the season, you won't be using Chris Redman.
