Jeremy Shockey, the Pro Bowl tight end of the New York Giants, will miss the rest of the season after suffering a broken left leg Sunday in the Giants' 22-10 loss to the Washington Redskins. Shockey will probably be replaced by rookies Kevin Boss and Michael Matthews, who have combined for 11 catches this season.

Commentary: The Giants will miss Shockey as they try to make the playoffs.

Fantasy Football Impact: Eli Manning immediately becomes even less desirable than usual. Although, anyone who had to use him as a starting QB this year most likely isn't playing right now. Shockey had 57 catches for 619 yards and just three touchdowns and really hadn't been a very good fantasy player anyway.
