Even though he suffered a mild concussion Sunday and was removed in the fourth quarter of Baltimore's overtime loss to Miami, Kyle Boller will start at quarterback against the Seattle Seahawks this week as the Ravens try to end a team-record eight-game losing streak. "Kyle, clearly, in my opinion, gives us the best chance to win the game," coach Brian Billick told reporters. "Kyle played very well and deserves the opportunity to continue to grow and get what he might out of these last two games."

Commentary: Billick obviously wants to determine whether Boller can be the starter next season. But rookie Troy Smith has played his way into the conversation as well. In his second appearance this season, he again played well in place of Boller, leading the Ravens to a tying field goal at the end of regulation and putting them in position for a winning 44-yard kick in overtime, which Matt Stover missed.

Fantasy Football Impact: The Ravens' passing game is still quite lackluster. In 10 games of significant action, Boller has thrown two TD passes only twice. So he's not worth a start this late in the year.
