The Tennessee Titans lost starting middle linebacker Ryan Fowler for the rest of the season, but Pro Bowl defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth should be able to play against the New York Jets. Fowler was put on injured reserve after he underwent surgery on his right shoulder. Stephen Tulloch will replace him, and the Titans signed veteran Jorge Cordova to take Fowler's roster spot. Haynesworth, who missed three games at midseason because of a bad back, has played the past three games and expects to play again after a three-hour session with an Atlanta chiropractor left him feeling better than he has in weeks.

Commentary: The Titans are chasing the AFC North loser (Pittsburgh or Cleveland) for the final wild-card spot, so losing Fowler is a blow. But a healthy Haynesworth would help a lot. He was the league's best defender before his back started to bother him.

Fantasy Football Impact: None.
