Titans quarterback Vince Young has been pushing himself all week to return from a right quadriceps injury sustained in the playoff-clinching win over the Colts. He practiced again Friday, another step toward being able to play in Sunday's wild-card game in San Diego.

Coach Jeff Fischer didn't go so far as to say he would start.

"He's better, like I anticipated," Fisher said Friday. "Took his normal reps. Didn't get to full speed, but we're hoping he will continue to improve."

Commentary: Young will do everything in his power to get on the field Sunday. Look for him to start even if he isn't 100 percent. If he's ineffective, Fisher can always put in backup Kerry Collins.

Fantasy Football Impact: Keep checking for updates. Young's status will continue to evolve as we get closer to Sunday's kickoff.
