With one of the league's worst lines, the St. Louis Rams struggled on offense this season, and they decided to fix the problem at the top, firing line coach Paul Boudreau. The Rams also took away Greg Olson's coordinator duties, although the team left open the possibility of Olson remaining in another capacity.

Commentary: The Rams had so many injuries on offense, including every star at some point, that it is hard to blame the coaches. But they did. Now they reportedly are interested in bringing in fired Miami coach Cam Cameron as their new coordinator. No matter whom they get as coordinator, that won't change the fact that the Rams' offense is full of aging and declining players. Former All-Pro tackle Orlando Pace hasn't been healthy in more than two years. Receiver Isaac Bruce is getting older by the day, and fellow wideout Torry Holt struggled all year with a knee injury. And if the Rams don't fix their line, Steven Jackson won't go very far and Marc Bulger will continue to be beaten to a pulp.

Fantasy Football Impact: The firings don't mean much. And even Cameron won't be able to do much with the Rams' offense if the team doesn't upgrade its line.
